Mine Awareness teams continue their humanitarian activity in Marib

Mine Awareness teams in Marib province continued their humanitarian activity in raising awareness among citizens on the dangers of mines, cluster bombs and remnants of war in order  reduce casualties.

During its second week of March 10-16, 2022, 3,140 people of different ages benefited from awareness campaign, including displaced persons in five districts of Marib province.

The teams continued  their activities, which aim to reduce the number of casualties who fall daily as a result of the heavy contamination of cluster bombs and war remnants, which UNDP has not provided for the marking of contaminated areas.
