Shura Council holds aggression coalition responsible for deteriorating humanitarian situation due to lack of fuel

The Shura Council held on Saturday the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition responsible for the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen due to tightening the blockade, the lack of oil derivatives and its disastrous repercussions on the health and service sectors.

The Council condemned, in a statement issued today, the shameful UN and international silence regarding the continued piracy of the coalition on fuel, food and medicine ships, which resulted in a suffocating crisis led to complete paralysis in hospitals, the interruption of water and electricity services, the cessation of the movement of goods, and the rise in the prices of basic foodstuffs.

The statement denounced the aggression coalition’s persistence in its arbitrary practices and preventing the entry of fuel ships to the port of Hodeida despite obtaining UN permits.

The statement also called on all the Yemeni people to positively interact with the “Yemen Hurricane” campaign to mobilize in all Yemeni cities and villages to confront the arrogance of the aggression coalition.
