The Yemeni community in Germany, in cooporation with Arab communities and German activists, have on Friday organised a protest in front of the embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Berlin, strongly condemning the recent escalation of Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes on Yemen.
The protesters strongly expressed their anger over the massacre of Yemeni people during the past seven years of war, and chanted slogans against Saudi Arabia and the major sponsors of its military aggression campaign, including the US, Great Britain and Israel.
They raised banners calling for an end to the aggression and blockade of Yemen.
The protesters also raised pictures that showed pictures of the suffering of the Yemeni people, and of crimes and violations committed by the Saudi-led aggression forces against civilians in the country.
They also condemned the silence of the international community and the so-called advocates of human rights, in the face of the ongoing crimes in Yemen, demanding that the Saudi-led aggression and blockade must end.
In past few weeks, over one hundred Yemeni civilian were killed and many others wounded in airstrikes launched by the Saudi-Emirati coalition in Saada, Sana’a and Hodeidah provinces.
