Ministry of Water condemns aggression targeting of water reservoirs in Sa’ada

The Ministry of Water and Environment on Wednesday condemned the targeting of the Talmas field tanks in the city of Sa’ada, which supply the province center with potable water, by the US-Saudi aggression warplanes.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Water considered the systematic targeting of water projects by the aggression coalition in the city of Sa’ada with three raids a full-fledged crime that contradicts international and humanitarian norms, charters, and laws.

The statement confirmed that 135 thousand people who benefited from the Talmas reservoirs were directly affected as a result of the cessation of water pumping.

The ministry called on the United Nations and the international community to assume responsibility for putting pressure on the aggression coalition countries to stop the targeting of infrastructure and the destruction of water projects.
