Human Rights Office expresses concern over deteriorating security situation in Taiz
Human rights office in Taiz expressed serious concern over the deteriorating security situation in the heart of Saudi-led coalition-held city of Taiz, its disastrous repercussions and effects on the humanitarian situation there.
In a statement, the Office noted that those areas had become the scene of extrajudicial killings, abductions and torture of civilians.
It condemned all forms of violations, including incidents resulting from the daily escalation of insecurity, as well as murdering of civilians, the most recent of which was the brutal beating of orphan Mahmoud by six people lead to his death.
The statement called on all international, local human rights organizations and all activists to take humanitarian responsibility for this heinous crime, to monitor and document these crimes, and working on to reduce the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Taiz.
