Governor of Aden: Citizens are unable to secure livelihoods

Governor of Aden province in the National Salvation Government, Tariq Sallam, on Tuesday warned of the danger of the deteriorating economic and security conditions in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces controlled by Saudi-led coalition.

The governor pointed out that the citizen has become unable to secure livelihoods due to the accelerating collapse of the currency and the insecurity in Aden and the rest of the occupied provinces.

“The occupier persists in persecuting citizens by destroying the economy, looting wealth, encouraging corruption, disrupting and looting state institutions, and supporting the militia in encroaching on the property and rights of citizens,” Sallam explained.

He pointed out that the deterioration of the local currency against foreign currencies has reflected negatively on the citizens.

The governor saluted the wide popular exodus that Aden is witnessing in the face of “the forces of arrogance and terrorism, and the rejection of the occupation policies aimed at starving citizens and looting resources to serve the interests and ambitions of the Saudi-Emirati occupation coalition.”
