Yemen holds United Nations responsible for coalition escalation
Ministry of Human Rights in Sanaa has held the United Nations and its bodies and organizations operating in Yemen full responsible for military and criminal escalation carried out by the Saudi-led coalition countries against the Yemeni people.
The Ministry said in a statement: “The continuation of the aggression coalition countries led by America and Saudi Arabia to target citizens and civilian objects in various provinces confirms that they do not want to bring peace and security to Yemen or the region.”
The statement pointed to the casualties caused by the escalation of the military coalition and its air strikes on civilians and the destruction of civilian objects, the latest of which was in Maqbna in Taiz and villages in the districts of Munabih, Shada and Al-Zahir in Saada, and Al-Nahda and Al-Anab neighborhoods in the capital Sanaa.
“The ongoing crimes and unjust siege by the aggression countries against the Yemeni people is a flagrant violation of all international laws, resolutions and treaties,” it added.
The ministry’s statement renewed its demand for the United Nations and the Security Council to maintain international peace and security from any threats that destabilize the security of the whole world, calling on to work to activate the provisions related to respecting national sovereignty of Yemen and its people and respecting diplomatic relations between countries, in addition stopping all forms of aggression and systematic siege.
