ISIS militants take control over village in northern Iraq
Iraqi security sources said Sunday evening that ISIS (Daesh) militants had taken control of a village in northern Iraq.
Security sources told Reuters that ISIS militants took control of the village of Lahibán in northern Iraq after an attack they began on Saturday.
The sources added that the villagers resisted the gunmen before leaving the village.
The gunmen set fire to some houses in the village, the source said
There has been no official confirmation from the Iraqi authorities so far, the agency said.
