Industry Ministry condemns targeting food stores in Sana’a

The Ministry of Industry and Trade condemned on Sunday the aggression’s targeting of food stores belonging to Yahiya Suhail Company, in the Al-Aanab neighborhood in the capital, Sana’a, destructing the company’s warehouses and cars and damage to nearby homes, in addition to injuring a number of citizens.

In a statement received by Saba, the ministry denounced the continued targeting of commercial and industrial facilities and civilian objects.

International and human rights organizations, unions, and international chambers of commerce and industry called for pressure to stop the aggression against factories and commercial establishments.

The statement called for the neutralization of economic, industrial and commercial establishments, as they are civilian, and targeting them would harm the food needs of the Yemeni people.

The statement held the United Nations and the international community responsible for the continuation of the aggression and siege and targeting the economic capabilities of the Yemeni people.
