European calls for investigation into murder of Palestinian child “Mohammad Daads”
The European Union (EU) on Saturday demanded the opening of an investigation into the murder of the Palestinian 15-year-old child, Muhammad Daads, from the New Askar refugee camp in Nablus city on Friday.
On Friday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of the child Daads, when the Israeli occupation forces shot him in the village of Deir al-Hatab with a bullet in the stomach.
“Shocked by the death of another child,” the EU said in a press release. “Yesterday, the child Muhammad Daads died as a result of the continued use of disproportionate lethal force by the Israeli forces.”
The union added: “His death must be investigated and the results announced as soon as possible to prevent the recurrence of such incidents. Children must be protected under international law.”
