Yemeni coffee festival and exhibition to kick off on Wednesday

Entitled as “ Development and Protection of Yemeni Coffee, is our collective responsibility”, the Yemeni Coffee Festival and Exhibition to be launched next Wednesday in the capital Sanaa.

The festival aims to promote awareness among farmers, producers and society to support, encourage and expand coffee cultivation and restore its historic status.

Mohammed al-Qasimi, head of coffee unit in the agriculture committee, said the festival seeks to raise awareness of the importance of coffee cultivation and its unique characteristics and features.

He pointed out that the festival aims to inaugurate the coffee revolution that enables this important strategic and monetary crop to regain its position and promote it as a sustainable tributary of development in Yemen.

Al Qasimi called on farmers, traders and the private sector to actively participate in and benefit from the festival and exhibition to promote and showcase their activities and products, as well as to benefit from the experiences of the festival to serve coffee growing development programs in Yemen.
