Rights Group Condemns Crime of US-Saudi Aggression Against Citizens of Sa’adah
Eye of Humanity center (Ain Al-Insaniya Center) for Rights and Development condemned a crime by the forces of the US-Saudi aggression in Al-Raqo area in Munabbih district of Sa’adah governorate.
Two citizens were killed and five others were wounded by Saudi artillery shelling in Al-Raqo area on Saturday, while five citizens were killed and 11 others injured by the Saudi army’s fire in the same area on Friday.
“This crime comes in the context of the daily attacks and violations committed by the US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries against the Yemeni people in various governorates,” the center said in a statement on Saturday.
The statement condemned the silence of the international community, international bodies and organizations, especially the United Nations, which is watching what the countries of aggression and mercenaries are committing against Yemenis.
The Eye of Humanity Center appealed to the remaining living consciences and activists in the world to condemn these crimes and massacres and stand by the Yemeni people.
It called for the formation of an international investigation committee into the crimes committed by the coalition against innocent civilians.
In light of its defeats on various frontlines and its failure to achieve any of its objectives, the US-Saudi aggression is notorious for its indiscrimination shown by its numerous attacks against densely-populated centers especially in Sa’adah province, including markets, hospitals, and schools.
Tens of thousands have died since August 2015, when Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched its devastating campaign against Yemen.
