Former Palestinian prisoner Hussein Masalmah dies in Ramalah hospital

Former Palestinian prisoner Hussein Masalmah with has Leukemia died late Wednesday evening due to illnesses caused by the policy of medical negligence in the prisons of the Zionist occupation.
“The liberated prisoner Hussein Masalmah was martyred at the Advisory Hospital in Ramallah, after 18 years in the prisons of “Zionist” injustice and neglected his health conditions for years, until he was decimated by cancer.
Masalmah was released in February 2021 at Hadassah Hospital in the occupied city of al-Quds, after his health deteriorated.
The Prisoner’s Club held the Israeli occupation responsible for the death of Masalmah . The Zionist carried out the crime of medical negligence, which has affected and continues to affect hundreds of prisoners inside the occupation jails .
Current data on sick prisoners in occupation jails were serious, with new cases of tumors recorded to varying degrees, particularly among prisoners who had spent more than 20 years.
Masalmah was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to 20 years in prison, of which he spent nearly 19 years.
