SCMCHA Secretary-General meets head of joint humanitarian action assessment
Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) Abdulmohsen Tawoos discussed on Tuesday with head of the joint humanitarian action assessment Louis Sida the UN and international humanitarian activities and programs in Yemen.
The meeting touched on the performance of the humanitarian organizations and their work in light of the shortage of the country’s resources and services in order to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
Tawoos listened to a brief from Mr. Sida about the findings of his visits to a number of provinces and the humanitarian projects being carried out in there.
Tawoos affirmed the SCMCHA’s keenness to implement humanitarian projects to contribute to meeting the needs of the people affected by the aggression, explaining that there are provinces have not received any humanitarian interferences yet.
In return, the head of the Humanitarian Action Assessment Team praised the role of the SCMCHA in coordinating efforts, facilitating his visits and overcoming the difficulties faced by the humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.
