Yemen, OCHA discuss humanitarian situation in Ibb

Secretary-General of the Local Council of Ibb province Amin Al-Warafi discussed here with deputy director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen Andrea Noyce the humanitarian situation in the province.

In the meeting held on Monday, Al-Warafi briefed the UN official on the situation in the province, stressing that the aggression insists on increasing the suffering of Yemenis.

He stressed the importance of OCHA’s role in providing support to alleviate the citizens’ suffering, urging the UN organization to double its efforts to improve the humanitarian situation in the province.

The two officials reviewed the possible ways to enhance and support the province’s programs and activities in the humanitarian and service fields.
