Dozens of war-wounded start protest in front of Yemeni embassy in Cairo
Dozens of war-wounded Yemenis – loyal to the Saudi-led coalition – staged on Sunday a protest in front of the Yemeni embassy in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to demand their monthly dues from “Hadi government” and the coalition.
The wounded called on the embassy to pressure Hadi’s government to pay their medical dues, holding it fully responsible for the severe suffering they are exposed to due to the lack of expenses, stressing that they will continue their sit-in until their demands are met.
The medical committee in the Ministry of Defense of the “Hadi government” had announced that the dues of hundreds of wounded in Cairo for the purpose of treatment had been cut off, noting that it was no longer responsible for the wounded.
