5.5-magnitude earthquake strikes Gulf of Aden

An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit the Gulf of Aden early on Monday.

According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km, 183 km northwest of Somalia.

According to the American authority, the earthquake occurred at latitude (12,835 north) and longitude (48.574 east).
