Hadramout witnesses massive protests against deterioration of services

Hadramout province witnessed on Tuesday massive protests in the city of Mukalla, according to local sources.

The sources affirmed that the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government’s forces fired live ammunition at dozens of protesters.

The protesters denounced the deterioration of services, electricity outage, local currency collapse and high food prices in the province.

The sources confirmed that angry demonstrations took place in Taiz, Hadramout and Aden on Tuesday evening, accompanied by popular calls for an escalation against the Hadi government and the Saudi-led coalition due to the continuous collapse of the economic and security situation, the rise of the dollar to more than 930 against Yemeni riyal.
