New, more dangerous strain of corona appears in Vietnam

The Vietnamese Ministry of Health announced the discovery of a new strain of the Corona virus, which is a mixture of the two strains of the virus that were discovered in India and Britain.

The Vietnamese Minister of Health, Nguyen Thanh Luong, said that the genetic sequencing of analyzes of many patients revealed the presence of two common types of Corona virus at the same time.

The electronic newspaper “VnExpress” wrote about the minister as saying today, Saturday, that it is noted that the Vietnamese hybrid strain of “Covid-19” is more contagious and can be easily transmitted through the air.

The minister said Vietnam would announce the newly discovered strain to the world soon.
