Dozens of Yemeni citizens stranded in India call for Hadi gov’t to return them to Yemen
Dozens of Yemeni citizens, who have been stranded in India, called for the Saudi-backed Hadi government to return them to Yemen.
The stranded, in a protest rally, demanded on Monday the government of Hadi to restart flights from India to Yemen to transport Yemeni students and patients.
“We are going through difficult living conditions, and many patients are waiting to return after their treatment ends, in addition to some students who have finished their studies and want to return to their families,” the protesters said.
Theغ added they have been exposed to financial fines and withholding their travel documents under the pretext of violating laws and regulations, due to expiring their residence visa.
The stranded had already carried out many protest rallies, yet the “Hadi government” showed no concern for the suffering of Yemeni citizens.
