OCHA humanitarian interventions discussed in Hodeida
A branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in Hodeida province, discussed on Sunday the humanitarian situation and OCHA interventions in the province.
This came after the director of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs’ branch, Jaber Al-Razhi, met with the deputy director of the UN office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen, Andrea Noyes, in the province.
In the meeting, Al-Razhi stressed the importance of OCHA’s role in doubling the efforts and providing support to alleviate the suffering of citizens, in light of the high numbers of displaced people.
For her part, the OCHA’s official confirmed the office’s endeavor to play an effective role during the coming period by supporting the service sectors in the province to ensure the continuation of the sectors ’work and alleviate the suffering of the population.
