Islah militants kidnaps two UAE Crescent workers in Shabwah

Islah militants on Friday kidnapped two UAE Crescent workers in Shabwah province, eastern Yemen, local sources said

Local sources in the province reported that police loyal to Islah party, (Yemeni branch of Muslim brotherhood) al-Islah kidnapped two UAE Crescent workers, while they were distributing Emirati breakfasts on the international road at the entrance to the city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwah

The sources indicated that the gunmen took the workers to an unknown destination.

This comes after Islah militants stormed one of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s breakfast distribution headquarters in Ataq city yesterday and kidnapped the director of the Human Rights Department of the “STC” branch in Shabwah and two others, and took them to a prison in the city.
