4-magnitude quake strikes southeastern Iran
A magnitude 4 earthquake struck on Sunday evening Kerman province, southeastern of Iran, local media reported.
Fars news agency reported the quake occurred near the town of Raber in Kerman province at 9:56 p.m.
According to the Seismological Foundation of Tehran University, the epicenter of the quake was 148 kilometers from the provincial center of Kerman and 211 kilometers from the port of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.
The epicenter was 9 kilometres from the earth’s surface.
Red Crescent teams rushing to the quake zone have so far reported no casualties.
