Solidarity Stand with Yemen in Chicago, Canada

A number of activists in the city of Chicago and Canada organized a solidarity stand with the Yemeni people over the sixth anniversary of the US-Saudi aggression.

The participants stressed the need to stop the absurd war led by Saudi Arabia on Yemen and to immediately lift the land, air and sea blockade.

They condemned the US role in supporting the war, calling for an end to support for Saudi Arabia and taking serious measures to stop the war on Yemen, which has entered its seventh year amid global silence and disappointment.

The Canadian Mao Organization for Peace held a solidarity march. The participants in the march affirmed their stand by the Yemeni people against the aggression, condemning the persistence of the US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy and other countries in providing military, logistical and intelligence support to the aggression.

They denounced the attacks on civilians and besieging them by closing airports and ports, and piracy on commercial and food ships and fuel tankers.
