Two Citizens Injured in US-Saudi Bombing on Hodeidah

Number of residents were injured and houses were damaged as a result of the bombing of citizens’ homes in Hodeidah governorate by the forces of the US-Saudi aggression, in a continuous violation of the Stockholm Agreement.

Almasirah Net correspondent reported that a man and a woman were injured Thursday morning as a result of the artillery shelling of the aggression’s forces on homes in Al-Haly district.

The correspondent added that a number of citizens’ homes were damaged as a result of the artillery shelling on Wednesday night on the 7Yolio neighborhood and 50th Street in Hodeidah.

On a daily basis, the Saudi-led aggression violates the UN-backed agreement, reached between the warring sides during a round of UN-sponsored peace negotiations in Sweden in December 2018.

The agreement committed the parties to an immediate ceasefire in the city of Hodeidah and the ports of Hodeidah, Salif and Ras Issa, redeployment of forces, securing the ports, the establishment of the joint Redeployment Coordination Committee chaired by the United Nations, and the use of the revenues of the ports to support civil service salary payments.

The continuous violations by the forces of aggression in Hodeidah come in light of an international silence identifying the aggression and its crimes against the Yemeni people.

The forces of aggression continue to violate the ceasefire in the Hodeidah governorate, where dozens of daily violations are being committed in light of an international silence that is indifferent to the blood of the victims that is shed on a daily basis.

On Wednesday evening, the Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room, which monitors violations of the Stockholm Agreement and Ceasefire in Hodeidah, reported 184 violations including the development of new fortifications, in addition to the flying of 18 spy drones over several districts. They staged 28 attacks with missiles and artillery shelling and 131 attacks with live bullets.
