Marib Needs Health and Food Aid

 The Secretary of the Supreme Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, discussed, Wednesday, with the Country Director of the “Adra Edger Castillo” organization, the health and food aid needed for Marib governorate.

In the meeting, Tawoos  stressed the importance of meeting the needs of the Marib governorate, through rapid intervention to provide food, shelter and other assistance, in a way that alleviates the suffering of citizens.

He also pointed out the need to focus on projects that benefit the community, stressing support for projects in Hodeidah and the rapid and emergency response to the displaced in the capital Sana’a.

For his part, the country director of the “ADRA” organization praised the efforts of the leadership of the Council of Humanitarian Affairs in providing support to the organization on the humanitarian side, stressing that the organization will work with the council in providing the humanitarian needs.
