Eight injured in Taiz explosion
At least eight civilians were injured on Friday in an explosion at a local popular market under control of Islah militants in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, local sources reported.
According to the local sources, an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in Najd Qasim market for selling vegetable market in Al-Masrakh district, injuring eight people, including a female child.
The sources said that the explosion caused damage to citizens’ property.
Taiz province has been witnessing in a state of security chaos amid the spread of armed terrorist groups affiliated with Saudi-led coalition .
