UAE company confiscates electricity meters in Socotra

 The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia have taken away a number of government electricity meters from citizens’ homes and shops in Socotra province, and replaced them with UAE meters.

According to local sources in the occupied Socotra archipelago province, Dexim Power, an Emirati electricity company has begun replacing government electricity meters from citizens’ homes and shops, under the protection of pro-UAE transitional militias.

The UAE company “Dexm Power”, confiscated the government electric meters, which citizens paid for their installation previously 60 thousand riyals, the sources added.
