SCMCH secretary-general meets WFP resident representative

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs discussed met here on Tuesday with the World Food Programme (WFP) resident representative.

 

In the meeting, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos and Laurent Bukera discussed the progress of the WFP’s field activities process in Yemen.

 

Tawoos stressed the effective contribution to facilitating the course of humanitarian action and the access of aid to those who deserve it and taking care of submitting annual reports and presenting the current year plan to the SCMCH.

 

On his part, Bukera affirmed that the WFP will continue its humanitarian missions in Yemen and its keenness to continue coordination with the SCMCH to serve the Yemeni people
