Turkish occupation cuts off drinking water for million citizens in Al-Hasakah, Syria
The Turkish occupation forces and its takfiris mercenaries, once again, cut off drinking water from the city of Hasakah and its western countryside, after they stopped operating Alouk water station in the countryside of the occupied city of Ras al-Ain.
The director of the Water Corporation, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ikla, told SANA that the Turkish occupation forces prevented the foundation’s workers from operating it and stopped pumping water, which deprives about a million citizens of Hasaka city and the western countryside of the only water source.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation forces have stopped pumping water from the Alouk station more than 18 times since their illegal presence in the northern countryside of Hasaka at the end of October 2019, not to mention their continuous attacks on the infrastructure, stations and electricity transmission networks.
