Hajjah, ICRC discuss possibility of establishing amputated limbs Dept.
Al-Jumhori hospital in Hajjah province discussed on Tuesday with the International Committee Red Cross (ICRC) sub-delegation in Sa’ada province performing operations to treat limbs.
Al-Jumhori hospital Chairman Abdulmalik Jahaf and the head of the ICRC sub-delegation in Sa’ada touched upon the possibility of accommodating and treating amputees and the handicapped who have amputated limbs and need prosthetic limbs.
Jahaf stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the authority and the ICRC and opening a special department to receive handicapped cases that suffer from amputated limbs.
The head of the ICRC sub-delegation in Sa’ada pointed out that the ICRC is ready to provide support in this regard according to the available capabilities.
