GOPHCY, HSACF sign cooperation agreement
The General Organization for the Preservation of Historic Cities in Yemen (GOPHCY) and Hayel Saeed Anam Charity Foundation (HSACF) signed on Sunday a cooperation agreement to restore historic buildings in the old city of Sana’a.
Upon the agreement, the HSACF will restore 30 historic buildings affected by flooding in the old city of Sana’a, according to a chronic operational mechanism.
The project is considered a pioneering contribution by the HSACF towards preserving and protecting the historic city of Sana’a as a global human heritage that must be preserved.
The agreement is signed by GOPHCY chairman Eng. Mujahid Tamesh and human development program director at the HSACF Mujib al-Fatesh.
