UN, International Community Should Work to Stop US-Saudi Aggression, Lift Unjust Blockade on Yemen.
Ahmed Hamed, President’s office director met with Humanitarian Affairs and Int. Cooperation Committee, during the meeting, they discussed the mechanism of dealing with the UN organizations, operating in Yemen. The Secretary General of the Supreme Council, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, explained about the established dealings mechanism.
The Council reviewed the proposed mechanism presented by the General Secretariat, which includes solutions and remedies for the existing imbalances in dealing with projects of international organizations, so that the proposed mechanism is committed to passing funds in accordance with the followed mechanism for dealing with projects submitted through international and local non-governmental organizations.
Hamed pointed out that the Council is keen to facilitate and coordinate humanitarian work and remove any obstacles that may arise in the field upon implementation, calling on the United Nations and the international community to work to stop US-Saudi aggression and lift the unjust blockade on Yemen.
