Sana’a IDPs receive ESKs
The Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA) inaugurated on Monday the distribution of Emergency Shelter Kits (ESKs) for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Sana’a province.
About 364 families in Bani Hushaish district have received the ESKs.
The ESKs distribution is a part of a protection-shelter activities project implemented by the General Union of Sociologists, Social Workers, and Psychologists –Yemen (YGUSSWP) and funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The ESK is designed to provide the materials and tools to construct a simple shelter for displaced families for a short period until a more suitable and durable solution can be found.
