ICRC’s support for water projects in Saada discussed

Governor of Saada province, Mohammed Awad, on Wednesday discussed with head of the sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), ‘Alex Simon’, the possibility of the committee’s support for water projects in the province.

In the meeting, the Governor stressed the province’s need for support in the field of water, indicating to the direct damage to the infrastructure in the province as a result of the aggression coalition aircrafts’ systematic targeting.

He expressed his hope that the ICRC’s sub-delegation would play an active role in completing the implementation of the projects that the committee promised to support.

For his part, the ICRC’s official expressed his satisfaction with the existing cooperation between the province and the committee, confirming the committee’s intention to implement sustainable projects.
