Even Money Could Not Cover Saudi, UAE Crimes in Yemen

The report that is supposed to be presented to the Human Rights Council in its 45th session, on 29 September, covering the period from July 2019 to June 2020, confirmed that the UAE still has a military presence in Yemen, and its aerial attacks are still continuing. UAE Air Force carried out more than 130,000 sorties and more than 500,000 flight hours, while the UAE Navy participated in 3 maritime work teams across more than 50 warships and more than 3,000 personnel. It provided support for 90 thousand Yemeni mercenaries.

What the UAE committed during this period is considered a drop in the sea of crimes that are committed by Saudi Arabia in Yemen in the same period, The report stated that 112,000 people have been killed in the war in Yemen to date, 12,000 of them civilians.

The UN report sheds light on the war crimes committed by individuals (officers-soldiers) from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which constitute the main structure of the coalition in the war in Yemen.

As was expected from any issued report by an international organization that is under US hegemony, as well as the influence of Saudi money, this UN report included what could be considered the “permissibility of issuing”. The report contained phrases that equated the executioner with the victim. It considered the weapons that UK, France, Canada and the United States send to Saudi Arabia and the Emirates, and the weapons that claimed to be sends to Ansarullah from Iran, are the reason for the continuation of the war!

How could Iran send arms to Ansarullah while the countries of aggression impose a comprehensive and enforceable land, sea and air blockade on Yemen. Even ships of humanitarian aid are not able to reach the port of Yemen without being subjected to multi-stage inspections. In return, Western countries are selling the latest and deadly arms for hundreds of billions of dollars to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Despite that the report unfairly accused Ansarullah with Saudi Arabia and the UAE, in order to satisfy the US-Israeli-Saudi-Emirati coalition, it mentioned the crimes of the aggression regardless of the money they spend and the US-Israeli support.
