New assassination attempt hits Hadhramaut

Unknown gunmen opened fire a pharmacist in Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen on Tuesday, local sources said.

According to the sources, the gunmen tried to kill Abdullah Omar bin Shihab in Al Qatn District. but he survived with serous injures

He was taken to a hospital in the city.

This is the second operation in two days, in which unidentified gunmen on Monday assassinated another soldier of the Hadhramian elite forces in the same city.

The districts of Wadi Hadhramaut which is under the occupation of the United Arab Emirates forces, have been witnessing major security chaos and assassinations carried out by armed factions loyal to the invaders, aimed against Yemeni military and security officers, as well as civilian targets.
