Oxygen Plant Stops Due To Exhaustion Of Oil Products In Al-Jawf

Quoted from Yemen Press Agency that the director of the health office in al-Jawf province announced that the only oxygen plant in the province at Al-Hazm General Hospital has stopped production to supply hospitals and health centers in the province due to the depletion of oil derivatives.

The director of the Health Bureau in al-Jawf explained that the suspension of the oxygen plant constitutes a real disaster in light of the spread of epidemics that require the availability of oxygen 24 hours a day.

He pointed out that stopping the oxygen plant means stopping intensive care and children’s barns, and this is killing the Yemeni people, confirming that the depletion of oil products led to the stopping of ambulances to transport critical cases.

He added, “We were surprised by the fact that the organizations that sing in praise of childhood and humanity and that used to provide unlimited support to these health facilities stopped supporting most of the projects after the liberation of the province center.

He appealed to the world to put pressure on the United Nations and the forces of aggression to enter oil derivatives and to provide support and assistance to the Yemeni people in general, Jawf province in particular.

He held the United Nations fully responsible for the stoppage of hospitals and the catastrophic consequences of that.
