Yemeni pilot dies while demanding his salary in front of coalition HQs in Aden
A Yemeni military pilot died Thursday in a sit-in camp in front of the gate of Saudi-led coalition command headquarters in the port city of Aden, southern the country, a local source reported.
The source confirmed that Colonel Pilot Abdulaziz al-Subaihi “al-Damer” had suffered a heart attack while claiming for his salary in front of the coalition headquarters in al-Buraiqa area.
“Al-Subaihi, who is considered one of the first pilots in the south, suffered a heart attack due to oppression, suffering, and his inability to purchase medication,” the source explained.
Hundreds of military and security personnel from the southern province set up a sit-in camp at the beginning of last July, in front of the gate of the coalition headquarters in Aden to demanding that their salaries be paid, which had been suspended for eight months.
