Sana’a Sanitation Management Condemns US-Saudi Airstrikes on its Facilities

The Sanitation Management condemned the targeting of its facility, by two raids, in Attan area. In a statement, the office considered the aggression’s continued targeting, of the sanitation and environmental sector facilities in Sana’a, a war crime and genocide against civilians. The aggression is pushing for the the spread of diseases and epidemics.

 

The statement emphasized that this targeting threatens an environmental and health disaster as a result of the aggression’s destruction of the facilities, equipment. It impedes the implementation of the tasks and activities of cleaning and removing waste.

 

The statement pointed out that this is not the first time for the aggression to target the facilities of the sanitation and environment sector. US-Saudi warplanes earlier completely destroyed the hazardous and medical waste recycling facility which cost over a million dollars.
