ADRA organization activities discussed in Meeting in Capital Sanaa
The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation AbdulMohsen Tawoos has met with the representative of ADRA in Yemen.
In the meeting held on Sunday, which was attended by the Head of the International Cooperation Department, Manea al-Asal, discussed the organization’s activities, its mechanism of action, uniting efforts and visions according to priorities in improving health services and sanitation, which contribute to relieving the burdens on citizens under conditions of aggression and blockade.
Tawoos stressed the importance of doubling efforts and speeding up the organization’s interventions to meet the need, stressing the need for the organization’s work to be humanitarian in a way that serves society in light of the current circumstances.
For his part, the representative of ADRA organization to Yemen indicated that the organization will make every effort to alleviate the human suffering that Yemen is going through.
“ADRA Yemen is one of the biggest aid agencies in Yemen, serving 9 out of the 11 humanitarian clusters and present in 14 out of the 22 Governorates. There are about 1,500 aid workers serving the ADRA mission in Yemen.”
