JMP Accuses Griffiths of Bias in Favor of Coalition of Aggression and Mercenaries

The Joint Meeting Parties in Yemen denounced the statement issued by the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen, Martin Griffiths, regarding his concern, which he described as major fuel shortages that the Yemeni people suffer from, and his fallacies in this regard.

In a statement on Sunday, the Joint Parties expressed their surprise at the explicit bias in the statement to the pro-aggression government.

“Martin Griffiths has said in his statement that the pro-aggression government ‘issued clearances for several fuel ships to enter through Hodeidah port,’ however, it is known that the pro-aggression government has no decision as the blockade is imposed by the Saudi-led aggression, which is holding the oil ships and preventing them from entering for several days, some of which are more than 3 months,” the Joint Parties said.

The Joint Parties called on the UN envoy Martin Griffiths and the United Nations to:

 – Stop taking sides with the mercenaries and the coalition of aggression at the expense of the Yemeni people and their right to a decent life and to the arrival of what they need in terms of fuel, domestic gas and foodstuffs ships.

– Stop cutting the facts and presenting a misleading image in favor of the mercenaries and the US-Saudi aggression.

– Bear the serious human responsibility resulting from preventing the entry of derivative ships.

– Sponsoring the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement as well as the Security Council resolutions that stipulate the entry of fuel ships without any hindrance.

– Credibility with regard to the commitment and attendance of representatives of the national side in the meetings of controlling revenues and paying salaries in light of the absence and intransigence of the other party.

– Not to be equivocal in requiring the other party to cover the deficit necessary for the payment of salaries at the level of the Republic.

The Joint Parties also called on the political and revolutionary leadership to reconsider dealing with the envoy and suspend dealing with his office until his supposed neutrality is guaranteed and until he presents a clear position on the continuing crime of detaining ships and not allowing them to enter Hodeidah port.
