Humanitarian Affairs Council condemns mercenaries’ crime against prisoner al-Juraidi
The Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation on Thursday condemned torturing the prisoner Abdullah Ahsan Naji al-Juraidi, from Sanaa province, until he died as a martyr by Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries in Marib province.
The council said, in a statement, that torturing the prisoner Abdullah Ahsan Naji al-Juraidi, is a deliberate crime without regard to the rules, customs and ethics of the Islamic religion, international humanitarian law and national and international norms.
In a statement, the Council called on the international community to take responsibility of protecting prisoners in the coalition’s mercenaries’ prisons in Marib.
The Council also called on the United Nations and its agencies to take responsibility for the protection of the prisoners and to stop the crimes and violations committed by the coalition countries against the Yemeni people in general and prisoners held in coalition prisons in particular.
