Ansarullah Spokesman Condemns US Harassment, Calls to Resist It

The  Spokesman of Ansarullah condemned the  provocative harassment of a Beirut-bound Iranian airliner over the Syrian airspace by two American warplanes as a “flagrant violation of international agreements”.

 

In a tweet, Abdulsalam called the people of the region to unify their position to confront this American intransigence, which constitutes a threat to all, without exception.

 

Earlier on the day, Ansarullah Political Office condemned he Thursday incident that saw the warplanes — enlisted with the US-led forces, who are illegally deployed to Syria — flying precariously close to Mahan Air’s Flight 1152 that had taken off from Tehran.

 

In a statement, it considered that the US behavior “is a blatant attack, a violation of international agreements in air navigation and a terrorist practice.”

 

It stressed that the resistance is the most effective and strong option that will impose the respect for peoples and not to violate their rights and sovereignty of their lands.
