UN Continues to Use Coronavirus in Yemen to Bring in More Money

The United Nations continues to invest in the suffering of the Yemenis, earning more money under the notion of funding its humanitarian operations in Yemen, including facing Covid-19 pandemic. United Nations, in a press conference held, on Monday, demanded the provision of 385 million dollars to finance its operations related to combating the spread of the coronavirus in Yemen.

“As of Monday morning, we have received only $ 55 million, which is 14% of what we really need,” said Stephane Dujarric, a spokesman for the United Nations Secretary-General. These claims come in light of confirmations from the Yemeni Ministry of Health of the absence of the United Nations role in the battle of the confrontation with coronavirus.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil had confirmed on June, 23rd that international organizations did not provide Yemen to confront the virus, and what it provided of respiratory devices was within the TD and other programs.
