Head Of General Investment: Main Solution to better Investment, Lifting Saudi Blockade

Yasser Al Mansour, Chairman of the General Investment, confirmed that there are many investment opportunities that will be launched during this year in five sectors. He told Almasirah ,on Tuesday, that “the industrial projects are 30 projects; most of them are medium-sized.” He pointed out that the number is small due to the global economic situation affected by the Corona pandemic.

Al-Mansour said that the financing of recovery projects is from the public treasury, while investment projects are financed by the private sector and a number of government companies and insurance funds.

He pointed out that the Central Bank took decisive decisions to suspend interest and transfer its funds to support projects, stressing that the fundamental solution to support investment projects in Yemen is to lift the blockade.
