Seven children, two women killed in coalition airstrike on Hajjah: UN
The UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen, Lise Grande, said that the initial reports indicated that seven children and two women were killed in the Sunday’s airstrike carried out by the Saudi-led aggression coalition fighter jets on Hajjah province.
Grande said in a statement that the airstrike also wounded two children and two women who were hospitalized to Abs hospital for treatment.
“It is incomprehensible that the killing of civilians in Yemen in continues light of spreading of the Corona pandemic, and the ceasefire options are on the negotiating table,” Grande said.
She expressed her deep condolences to the families of the children and women killed by the coalition airstrike in the province, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
