FM, House of Representatives Condemn US-Saudi Crimes Against Yemeni Women and Children in Hajjah
An official source at the Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the continued US-Saudi war crimes against civilians, housing and public utilities, the most recent of which was targeting a citizen’s house in the district of Washha in Hajjah Governorate, killing and injuring a number of women and children.
The source pointed out that this crime comes shortly after the date of the decision of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to remove the name of the aggression coalition from the list of disgrace for violators of children’s rights, which confirms the inadequacy of that decision and the need to review it.
The source called on the international community, in the forefront of the Security Council, the states sponsoring the settlement in Yemen, and the Human Rights Council to abandon the policy of double standards in dealing with human rights in Yemen, condemn this crime and press Saudi Arabia to stop its crimes, and the formation of an independent international committee to investigate it and the rest of the crimes that Committed since March 26th, 2015.
The House of Representatives also strongly condemned the continuation of the aggression coalition in committing the horrific crimes against the Yemeni People. The Council affirmed that the international silence and the double standard policy have contributed to the persistence of the countries of the aggression coalition in killing women and children and committing more crimes, which makes the United Nations and all its affiliated bodies a partner in these massacres.
The House of Representatives put the full legal and criminal responsibility of all crimes committed against the Yemeni People on the aggressive countries, calling for the speedy investigation of all documented crimes such as war crimes with full elements that do not lapse by statute of limitations.
