Five bakeries closed in Sana’a for violating weight of bread
The Office of Industry and Trade in the capital Sana’a on Saturday closed five bakeries in Shaoub district for violations of the weight of bread.
Director of the Industry and Trade Office in the capital, Sadiq Salah, said that the office targeted, during the day’s field campaign in the framework of the Shaoub district, 11 bakeries violating the weight of bread loaf, five of which were closed and two were notified of the closure on Sunday, while fines were imposed on the rest of the bakeries.
He pointed out that the measures taken against these bakeries violating the approved weight (from 60 to 50 grams) included the temporary and permanent closure according to the law.
