YPC’s staff continue protest in front of UN office in Sanaa
The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC)’s employees and its unions on Friday held a vigil in front of the United Nations office in the capital Sanaa, for the 59th Friday in row.
At the protesting vigil, the company’s executive manager Ammar al-Adhraei confirmed that the oil company is ringing the alarm again as a result of the depletion of the company’s stock, its agents and oil stations from fuel.
Al-Adhari warned of an imminent catastrophe in the coming days, which will affect all service sectors if the coalition continues to detain oil derivatives ships.
Al-Adhari explained that the coalition released only two oil ships, and when the two ships arrived three days ago off the port of Hodeidah, the coalition navy pirated them and took them to the Jizan port.
Al-Adhari held the coalition forces and the United Nations fully responsible for all the consequences of seizing oil derivatives ships and preventing them from reaching Hodeidah port.
